Try washing your hands with soap then slide open the cover. It only opened after I tried tt.

If this is 'possible' . . .then I guess it will just be moot and academic that by applying some petroleum jelly or a plain - baby oil in your hands before attaching back the battery cover will do as well . . . maybe 'best' !

That worked on my S700i. U shld try it on ur S700 if u are using one. Btw, I was juz helping out the guy with my experience using the S700i. If u find my method lousy, u can suggest something better instead of putting some ridiculous comments.

Vaseline or oil would have the opposite effect from soap. Soap takes the oils off your hand and makes them stickier--once you've rinsed them. That was the point, not to make them more slippery.

Lol... some good suggestions there guys thanks! I like the cheese one!

I got it off now at last, but I'm not sure I'd wantto put all lubricant or water whatever over it!?

Thanks for your help!

@bucky - I don't find your suggestion 'useless' mate, that's why I seconded it with that 'grease' thing ! The soap thing when dried 'might' leave some 'sticky' feel . . . that's why I guess, the lubricants will just do - BEST !
