The newest version is "R2A" NOT "R1A"
There is a confusion there...

But I upgraded my today, and I know.

I just had the R2A (R2A013) upgrade today.

The features are better colors in games.

Call-list (missed calls e.g.) now have small icons for mobile, home or work.

The hidden SNAKE game : push 789 instead of 123.

Thats about it.

I think its probably a bit faster in the menues.

Hardware version R1A, made in Sweden.
Actually says on phone behind the battery, and in service-menu.

I just had my T68 updated this morning and the only changes I see are the ones mentioned above.

I also think there is one more change, the Clock, Battery and signal status is displayed during calls.

But to my great disappointment no Picture album and acutally no great things included except the phone works faster.

Merkur,..hmm havent really noticed that one, about clock battery and signal.

Yes the phone does work faster. Gprs seems to be better too, one guy told me that.

No, there arent really much more to say.

Does the R2A upgrade worth the wait? The long wait for the release of R2A carried with it lots of expectations from consumers... like photo album and background.
Give us quality upgrade Ericsson! Just the insignificant changes do not make any changes. This time Ericsson has let me down!

I don't think it was Ericsson who set the expectations to us consumers. It was the speculators who presented these claims to new features, and it's us poor owners who believed them.

Agreed don't blame Erisscon. Had my R1B for 10 weeks now and does exactly what "it says on the can". Any free upgrade will be an unexpected bonus.
