Can mp3 files be converted to a imy ringtone? |

Not sure but I don't think it's possible or at least easy to do.
Mp3 files are digitally encoded and compressed audio files whereas .imy tones are actually text files of a special kind which the T68i can read.
I could be wrong - I know .mp3 files well because of my work but am not too sure about .imy - I speak based on the conclusions of my own simple mind on the matter.
I would be very interested to know how it goes with your quest for conversion so please let me know if you do find the answer to your question.

Hmm.. That must be very difficult, if not impossible. But hey, if you want an mp3 tune as a ringtone, find the MIDI of that song on the Internet och convert that to IMY.
If you want to use mp3 songs as ringtones, wait for the  P800!

I have managed to convert the mp3 file into a wav file no problem but have yet to find a freeware program to convert wav into midi, i found one program which did it well but it would not allow me to save the outputted midi file! Its a shame as I think it would have worked really well if anyone finds such a program please let me know.
