No, you CANNOT tell whether you have the LATEST software or not by any information on your phone itself. The phone itself would never tell you, "I have the latest FW!"

U can compare it with the latest fw edition when u check it in the service menu.

it showed as below :

anybody can tell me is this the latest ver. of firmware ???

Correct me if I'm wrong, but SE have stopped upgrades to R2L because there were so many problems iwith online upgrades to R2L.
