do you have the Theme creator installed on your PC?

Open it up, select K700 and write down the measurements for each image. then proceed as per my tutorial (see link in sig) and import yur images into the theme creator.

You have to make/design all the images yourself.

Best way is to take an existing theme, open it up with an "un-tar" program (search download.com or versiontracker.com for a program that can de-compress .tar archives) and look at the various elements to see how it is put together.

Well a bit of creativity never hurts, I just gave you a starter if that's not detailed enough I'm afraid there is little I can add to amke you understand.
The idea of making theme si seither creating images and use those, or finding images and 'slice' them up to fit your phone..
There is no such thing as a 'pre-made ready to us in every single theme' softkeys image, nor should you want one. Every theme can have different ones. Go forth and experiment!

But when i save my work..
It says that the colours of the softkey and softkey background doesn't fit the k700i..
And the k700i will not accept the theme..
HOw do i fix it??

another problem... everytime i preview my created theme... everything is fine... but if i transfer it to my fone(k700i) ...the single title tabs are messed up!!(example..the INBOX title pic is way smaller than what i've designed) what could be the prob?

transparent softkeys are fairly easy to make. You need two images. The softkey background, following on from the main background. And the shape for the softkeys that is going to be transparent.

You then take the shape and place it over the softkeys background. Then reduce the opacity of the shape to 70, 60, 50, 40% whatever you think looks best. This will allow the bottom image to show threw the shape, and therefore give you a transparent look to yuor softkey. Probably not explained the best, but sure you get the idea.

to make highlight tabs transparent, create your image on a seperate layer in photoshop, then trash the background layer. you are then able to make the remaining layer transparent. be sure that you DON'T flatten the image as this will lose your transparency details. after you are happy with your image and the level of transparency (use the Opacity slider in the layers pallette for this effect) save the image as .png format. this will remember the opacity detail and will show in the theme creator/on your phone.

this will not work for background image on popup windows tho, as i have discovered...
