hello! recently got my s700i, and here's a problem that's bugging me. i've been trying to transfer photographs i took from my phone to my pc, yet i can't seem to do it via bluetooth. is there a reason why? i used both xp's bluetooth file transfer wizard and fma, yet both are unable to work. i have no problems with transfer from pc to phone though.

thanks for your time.

@ennnnnnnn

Are both devices paired when you are trying to transfer files?

Do you have a message on your PC asking you to accept incoming files when trying to send from your mobile?

Which Bluetooth dongle are you using?

Have you tried having your 'Bluetooth Shared Folder' open when attempting to receive files from your mobile?

yes, the phone is connected to the pc.

no i don't have any incoming message on my pc. it's like it can't detect my phone, yet they are both connected.

how do i tell which bluetooth dongle am i using?

no i haven't tried it, and i don't seem to have a folder like that.

Who is your dongle made by? Did you install the software that came with it (I am assuming that it did come with software)?

ah i managed to fiddle around with the program and all, and somehow got it working, though it's pretty slow, what with 1 file per transfer and all. that's the best that can be done now i s'pose?

but thanks a mil for all the help anyhow
