Greetings,
is there a program like SMAN for the P900 that I can download for the LG8120 so that I can rename and transfer onto PC .dm files? These are the protected video files downloadble from 3 UK.

Nope but you have the software that came with the phone to transfer stuff via cable to the pc |

Find the program GThing.... This will let you download all files from your LG 8120 except the java games and applications... However this tool can upload java games and application to the phone... Weird if you ask me....
Just for you all about this phone.... The file format for the video file in the phone calles ?.mp4.dm can't be read on a PC just yet... (What I'm informed though) because of the protection of the files... (Look at fileinfo in the player) ... Here you can also see the resolution of the movie clip you can upload to the phone... ex. 176x144..... If anyone have a tool that can play the mediatype file ?.mp4.dm plz let me know....
Another hint... The player VLC Player can convert any type of movie except the mp4.dm file into anyother format you would like... and rescale it too....

well get that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you take a mp4.dm file , remove the .dm out , then use TEMPEncoder u can convert the clip to mpeg..
