I've installed Fma and that monitor program. I can link up my t230 with my computer and I can send messages from my computer through my phone, download messages and contacts. But how can I upload themes and ringtones? I've read you've got to turn of that OBEX issue, but then also the function to send something in Fma is dissabled ( the phone pic in the upper tray ) So what do I have to do then?

And yes I've done that: 9600, checked COM port, the two things next to the 9600 are enabled...

Yes I have that program but I can't do anything with that. I've installed it and I can start it, but that's everything. I can't select something in it or click on something.

There is an option somewhere in FMA window menu and toolbar 'Send file to phone',something like that. Try that.. I believe it works for t230 too, especially if you can send sms via FMA... [addsig]

You can definitely send a file to your phone. Just look for the icon highlighted below...

You cannot download files from a T230 though! There is a great forum on esato regarding the T230 and FMA - use the search facility!

Cheers

But that button isn't available. Only when I turn OBEX on after I've connected. But then he says that the OBEX is busy. I've read that it should be off but then the button disappears again.

I may be way off here but..

If you want to send anything to your phone via IR, just right-click the file (while having an IR connection) and select send to ir-device or something.. works with XP, and t310, t610 and k500..

-Edit- I'm not talking about FMA. Right click the file you want to send in windows explorer. -Edit-
