I've just got a new 512Mb Memory stick Pro Duo for my V800 to pile on a few MP3s. The trouble is, the phone doesn't recognize it. I have formatted the card in XP as directed on the Sandisk site and I can add files to it ok, but the phone doesn't see them. I try to format the memory stick from within the phone and I'm told that this function isn't available. When I try to see the status of the memory card from 'My Items', all reference to the memory card is grayed out, claiming that it has 0 bytes capacity.

The new stick didn't have the same folder structure as the old one, so I have copied all of this across exactly as it is on the original 32Mb card - no luck, the phone still won't see the card.

I can't see this problem mentioned in the last couple of technical support pages. Anyone know where I'm going wrong? The phone manual is next to useless for this, saying only that the Pro Duo cards are compatible.

Please disregard my original post. It only doesn't pick up the memory card when it's got the USB connection to my PC. It's working now.
