I bought the t610 to t630 conversion kit from ebay and while opening the inside of my t616 i broke the metal latch/lock of the lcd ribbon connector. I knew I had to open it to insert the lcd connection but I think after opening and closing many times to get a good connection, I broke that metal lock. Now my phone is pretty much blind. The phone works, i get calls and i can dial calls but i cant see any missed calls, contacts or any part of the lcd working. Basically I need to know if they have a spare part for that or if there might be a way to make a solid connection of my lcd to the board. i know how to solder but i dont want to apply heat to the board considering it might mess it up even more.
Also I know the LCD isnt damaged its new and was working fine before. Everytime I open the phone the lcd ribbon or connector wire is just hanging out in the phone and not connected. Please help any info will be helpful |
