K700i and Outlook woes |

When I sync my K700i to Outlook, only the numbers are synched. The guides at www.sonyericsson.com suggest that the "Street" field will be synced as well. It is not.
The version of SyncEngineApp.exe installed by the CD is version 1.2.7.5. I tried updating to the SyncStation version on the SonyEricsson website, but then could not sync at all so reverted to the one on the CD.
Is there a fix for this? Are there any hidden configuration options?
FMA doesn't synchronise ADDRESSES, else I would use that. |

welcome to Esato
in my experience only business addresses are synched, not personal addresses.
what type of addresses are you using?

I'm trying to synch PERSONAL addresses.
If I send my contacts to the phone as business cards then SOME of the addresses end up on the phone, but not all. So SE software should be capable of correctly syncing.
I was sold this phone on the understanding that I can sync my address book to it. Have I been sold a lemon? |

Well I phoned Sony Ericsson who told me that if I udated to the version of Sync Station on the website, it would fix this problem.
It hasn't. And it's taken me 2 hours to get the whole PC Suite working again.
There IS a way to get the contact home addresses to the phone, but it's fiddly.
1. Make sure that none of the fields are greater than 25 characters long ("Home street" was usually too long in my case). Fields longer than that are ignored.
2. For contacts which are purely companies, copy the company name to the "First Name" field, or the contact will be marked "No Name" on the phone.
3. Select all addresses (Edit > Select All).
4. Send them to the phone (File > Send To Bluetooth > K700i)
If anyone has an easier way, please let me know!
