I just read the article about O2's agreement with NTT DoCoMo to bring this service here by the second half of 2005 (next year!!!). Anyone else read it? What d'ya think? Will the 'O2 NTT DoCoMo' service be better than the existing 3G service by 'Three'?

Hi Coo1k3n,

I-mode has a huge selection of sites to choose from. I can only see this being better than the content offered by the operators own brand.

I am not impressed with Orange's wap sites with quirky news from Annanova. It is rubbish.

I-mode is very successful in other countries. May be this clever move will make the other operators get their act together.

Vlam reckons she has to pay extra to access some none-Voda sites from her V800.

I wonder what snazzy handsets O2 will be bringing out for imode later this year. They desperately need to move up a gear as far as 3G is concerned..
