Im really confused. can the 6630 vid call with out the stand? what is that small circular lens (or whatever) i see on top of the phone's facade?
nokia.com:
First, you need to subscribe to the video call service through your mobile operator.

When the service is active, simply answer the incoming video calls by pressing the green call/send key. To make a video call, select a contact and then select Name>Options>Call>Video.

When the call is connected (the call has been answered), the handsfree speaker is activated automatically.

If you want yourself to be visible in a video call in a steady professional manner, you can purchase the Nokia Video Call Stand (sold separately) to assist you. The stand allows you to position the phone and camera steadily to send more stable image.

The front camera of the Nokia Video Call Stand is activated automatically if connected when you make or receive a video call.

in the second to the last paragraph, it says, if you want yourself to be visible...then that would mean the 6630 can answer vid call except that you cant be seen but you can see your caller...is this right?

can any1 confirm this pls...thanx

There is only one camera on the 6630 and that's on the back... You DO need the stand for video calls!

The little circular thing at the front of the Nokia 6630 is the light sensor...apparently to save battery life!

a light sensor to detect how bright the screen needs to be is great!

What I want to know is, can you receive a video call? And if you make a video call, would they just see whatever the camera was facing?
Or would you just not be able to accept or receive video calls?
