Is there any software preferably free that can downgrade the quality of songs so that i can fit more songs on the mp3 player? eg 128kbps > 64kbps |

musicmatch jukebox lets you record your cds at just about any quality you like, or real player's real jukebox, if your mp3 player support wma files use a bit rate of about 64 khz, it's almost the same quality as a 128khz mp3 and quite a bit smaller |

I use Goldwave for editing mp3's and wma files. YOu can adjust the quality, length and format of them. It is available from

I am using Musicmatch jukebox. Choose file-convert in the menu. I usually convert my mp3s with variable bitrate and the vbr setting at 1%. This gives mp3s with quite good quality and the filesize is a little smaller than 96kbps constant bitrate files.

It's so funny when people post irrelevant posts cause they make mistakes while using WAP!
