The CEO of XM has been talking about how he expects to see cellphones with built-in satellite radio receivers within five years. Too bad it won’t take that long in Asia.There are already a few companies in South Korea and Japan showing off prototypes of cellphones with built-in satellite receivers , and Toshiba and SK Telecom have even launched a satellite specifically for broadcasting to cellphones.

The European "equivalent" of XM is DAB.
We do not have XM in Europe.

What kind of Battery will these phones use, Adding Satellite radio is gonna require load's of Cell Power

DAB is not satellite radio. I said it's the equivalent but maybe i was misleading there.
It's the only form of air-waved digital radio we got in Europe.

At the moment there are interesting new techniques coming on for battery. There are new developments with fuel cells, miniature combustion engines or even gas turbines - I guess in 5 years there will be appropriate power for the new phones..

Thats gonna be great, But Fuel Cell..I buy...But if you're saying that very soon combustion engines and gas turbine powered cell are gonna come...I'm sure I'm not the only one who might want to burn my hair...What if there is slighteset explosion...It could be hazardrous...
But then Technology is still awaited...

As long as you keep in mind they´re expected to be as small as regular batteries (i.e. a replacement) I guess they won´t be that dangerous and people will take care not to blow your jewelry accidentally - at least if you not buy a faked nokia one
