my laptop cant detect my t68 by using the infrared port...may i know what do i need to d/l any infrared software to support it..??i've been to the sonyerricson web page to search for the software but the server is down..... |

What windows are you using mate,
XP will detect T68 IR without additional software. |

Is it the second or first version of 98? I've used the second version and it works fine.
Did u install 98 or was it already there when you bought the laptop? |

Win ME also works fine..... i am using Win ME on my laptop (an old ass Toshiba P166MMX 64MB, but still usable...... )...... i can establish communication btw the phone and the laptop without installing extra software......

it is included in the pakage4 ..
or you can get it .. ind it is XTND file.

Go into your bios F2 or del when booting up... u may find your infrared need enabling |

@soyabean, is there an IR icon on the system tray? You may want to check the control panel settings for infrared, and check your system properties for conflicts and problems

There is no problem detecting my very old SH888. It will usually detect the phone for alittle while then lose it.
There is nothing wrong with the phone because i have tried the IR-port on other devices. It must have something to do with the settings. |
