TELUS Mobility today announced the exclusive availability of the Fastap LG 6190, the world's first wireless phone that integrates text keys around a standard numeric phone keypad.

Fastap technology makes it far faster and easier to send text, picture and e-mail messages, or enter e-mail addresses, phonebook contacts, Internet directory searches and other data directly into their wireless phones.

Useful but looks kinda ugly.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!

Too ugly for me, usefull? As a guy said T9 is so simple n easy to use that other input user interface will have problems for beating it.

According to initial reviews,Usability is good, especially for text. Those with large fingers might find it awkward to press the number keys,But fortunately, the intelligent FasTap technology lets you simply mash the number keys without worrying about hitting the letters if you do, it knows what you meant to type. It feels a little weird, but it works great. Some live pics below!

i like the looks of it, and think its a great idea. just a shame its lg. i had the 7100(?) , the orange exclusive one and it was crap! great screen, that was all. never again unless the ui is DRASTICALLY updated.
edit: whats with lg's numbering policy, they seem to be going down!
