Everyone,
I want to start a web/wap site to host themes, logos, screensavers, ringtones and anything else all us Esato.com users need but can't easily find. I need everyone's input on this. I'm hoping to get as much input as possible so that we can make this a central resource which we can all benefit from - jump directly to it and make it known as the central resource that it will be. I have the will, the skill and the webspace. All I need is everyone's help  (and encouragement) on this to do it properly.

I pretty much find all that I need here in Esato only and for free! So why would I want to visit another website?
Of course if you want to create a website for ALL mobile phones and not just  then I guess we will give you full support 
You need to be more specific in terms of what it is that you want from the users of Esato ... and Im sure positive ideas will flow.

I believe the online dimension of phones is very much under-represented on the Internet and on WAP. I was once a Nokia user and the amount of content - meaningless as much of it is, really says something about users' devotion to the products they own and their willingness to expand the usability of these products.
I don't think the world needs any more sites for phones manufactured by Nokia or other manufacturers. I posted my call for help on Esato.com because this site focuses mainly on products and their users.
Many times you find posts on the Esato forums about users who have created new themes/logos/screensavers/ringtones but who have no place to post them - with the ultimate result being many many lines of "me too please user@domain.com" posts. While this is good as it encourages people interaction (the central idea of a forum) it would be nice if there were a site that people could post their creations on and just say "I made a theme - go find it at so and so"
Like I said, sites with content for are very much under-represented and I believe that as users we should do something about it. This is my way of contributing to such a movement. This is an centered forum so I felt it the right place to call for help for a related site!
In terms of the kind of help I need, I mainly need people's creations: those who have no place to post their creations or who simply want to post their creations in more places. I also welcome any ideas and so on. I intend to build a WWW version and a WAP version of the site.

...And the site will of course be free as this is not the kind of thing you charge money for. Think of it as a complementary service to Esato - one that focuses on content whereas Esato focuses on ideas/thoughts and interaction between users.

The amount of inventive people on here that are constantly coming up with new themes/ringtones/screensaver/etc.. and having no where to really to show off their work and share with other Sony/Ericsson users.
Its about time someone took up the gauntlet..
