Hey, I jst bought a dcu-11 cable, to use for my SE k700i I installed the drivers, installed the software but everytime i try and use any of the features, it says "no k700i connected", i used jst a standard cable for my T610 and this worked fine and this but i haven't been able to connect with eithor cables for my k700. Any ideas please

Has the com port for usb cable been checked in the mobile phone monitor? The com port other than build in ones.

How do i do that? all i did was install the cable drivers and the pc suite software, plugged my fone in, everytime i plugged it in the software on the pc suite sed was "not connected".

For many people who use applications depending on the Sony Ericssons Mobile Phone Monitor, this is a common problem. The solution for those people is to use applications that don't depend on it, like floAt's Mobile Agent http://fma.sourceforge.net/

Yes it is. First install the driver for your USB cable. Then, under hardware settings in your PC, check your communication port ID for your USB cable and enter the same number in the FMA settings and everything will work fine.
