Hi,

Im just about to try unlocking/debranding my K700 with total server but I now hesitate because when I tried "Read CID" and got an error saying like this:

I changed port speed but I got the same error.

Whats wrong, any ideas?

the speed should be 115200... is your battery totally full? It should be TOTALLY full. or you are just using a wrong Server

Hope this helps,

Also make 200% sure that you have a T28 SERVICE as opposed to DATA cable.

Port speed is correct.. Battery was fully charged before I began this thingy

Maybe Im using the wrong server.. but this is the only one I bought credit for I tried Davinci (no credit) for checking RSA (I want to know that this cable is the right one) and no errors.

Is it possible that the firmware (vodacrap) makes this error when reading CID?

ThreeX:

I thought of that and i tried looking it up in this page http://se.x-pec.com/t28cable/

Im pretty sure that its not the data cable, pin 11-9 is connected.. The only thing I cant verify is that 6. Data to Phone (Rx) and 7. Data from Phone (Tx) isnt mixed up..

NO, Vodafone couldn't do it... you have the right cable because you wouldn't get that far...
try playing a bit with System Properties -> COM ports... reset all to defaults, etc.

I'll PM you

I have a vodafone k700i, vodafone have unlocked it so i use other sim cards, and had sw upgraded to R2V001 but i can't send picture messages. I think its because the phone still has vodafone default settings and vodafone branding. T-mobile have tried to send their settings but still can't sent pic messages. Is there anyway i can go to get these removed????
