The kaypad on my sisters laptop ( Sony Vaio laptop ) is broken, Sony Hungary has no replacement at the moment, they can just order from Germany and we donnow how long time it would take to get a new one . She would like to sell it before xmas, so if anybody could manage it and send it, i would be very happy. Any idea or solution is more than welcome. Thx in advance

this is the model:

@boba

I suppose you could have a look online for one, perhaps ebay, and then have your local Sony centre use it to perform the repair.

I have to say though; I am somewhat surprised at your sister's patronage of Sony!

I'll look for you, but I imagine that it might take a while here too, although perhaps not quite as long.

well I think it must be sold...Unfortunately I couldnt help u from Turkey.They (sony headquarter in Turkey) always say it s ur mistake or 1-2 months for replacement.So I have bought a Fujitsu Lifebook 8010,it s superb...I just advise u to buy Fujitsu Lifebook 8010 or Dell 8600-9100,Acer Ferrari 3400 amd-2020...(of course its gpus are really cool and all of them use Ati mobility 9700)
