Not specific to Pxxx, I know, but I have a lot of trust in this little community....

Last night, I had 3 messages within about 10 mintues. All from "surfmail", all claiming that I've received an MMS message and to go to their website (http://viewer.surfmail.com/servlet/mmsviewer) to see it. Each message gave a different 5 character code to enter.

Now I know that if you don't have an MMS-compatible phone, you get a message like this instead, BUT a) I DO have MMS, and it's enabled. b) I would expect the message to be from O2, not some random site that appears to be based in France.

I don't want to enter my mobile number onto this website to check if there's really an MMS there, because I fear that it's just a way of confirming active phone numbers so that they can start text-spamming me.

If anyone has heard of this company, and can confirm/deny it's legitimacy, I'd be grateful.

Cheers
