There are so many threads on backup and reinstalling sms - wouldnīt it be time for microsoft to think about the possibility to integrate full sms compatibility (perhaps even other instant mailer) in their outlook regarding the growing exchange between PC's and phones? Even though itīs only popular on 'the continent'?

What do you think?

I would be happy about a possibility in Outlook which lets me writing and receiving SMS for free.

But I think Microsoft would get problems with mobile phone providers because they see SMS as their monopoly...

thatīs a 'radical' idea
I just meant the technics - implication of sms-writing would be fine, why not with your phone provider; itīs ok for me to pay but I get really angry about the way sms canīt be reasonably stored or handled with the pc at present..

Hey mate, go here:

http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm

On the right side of this page you can download the Fma 0.1.1.16 Stable Setup File. With this file you can install a program called floAt's Mobile Agent. You can store SMS out of your phone with it. Another possibility is to write an SMS on your computer and send it directly to the recipient, if your phone is connected to the computer.

The program was made for the T610, but it works excellent with my K700i; maybe it does also for your phone ? Try it out, it's free !

Easy - www.vodafone.co.uk/textcentre if your on voda.

You have to pay the standard 12p, but you can also get replies straight into your e mail inbox.

I see.. But what I was asking for is not alone the possibility of editing and storing messages on pc - itīs the integration of sms into outlook. There are so many add-ons - this would be a very useful one..

Not entirely sure what you mean (specifically) - these do integrate SMS into Outlook, in a way.

What specific features would you like?
