Dial up with opera |

hay all. i am having trouble ith opera i want to use dial up rather than gprs because of free mins i have but i cant get it to work it just says connected and thats it. Can anyone help?

isn't it just a matter of going into the control panel and setting your preferred data account to be the dial up one?

i have done that but nothing. it just says up i the top right-hand corner dialling, connected thats it then it just hangs. what else can i try?

Does your wireless provider support dial-up data? Many don't. |

I haven't try this, but what about if u dial up with the std browser. When you get a connection, switch over to opera... don't know, just an idea....

If you are using the correct CSD settings and ur operator supports the service, it should work. I suggest you call your operator, as well as the Dial-up service provider to see if its not a problem from their end. |
