Hi,
I've bought my K7 in august, one of the first one's to arrive here in belgium, running r2a041... it has always worked perfect untill i installed fma a month ago, which has always been updates to the last version...
since that moment, my phone lost many contacts (lost half of my 276 contacts), started to crash three times a week...
before fma, i used the software from SE to synchronise, whioch worked perfect... now i haven't used fma for a week and my phone started to act normal again...
first i couldn't believe that it was fma nice up my phone since i read so many good thinks about it, but now i have to believe it...
any info why?
btw: i'm gonna buy dss-25 for online updates, my k7 is not brabded |

Hiya,
I'm started using FMA recently with my T630 and have noticed sudden reboots, some even seconds after the last......I guess FMA has some compatibility issue....havent lost any contacts as yet. I connect FMA using bluetooth.......anybody using infrared/cable please tell us your experience with FMA

I've been using FMA with my T610 since july and never had a single problem, once I get all set on my pc it started working like a dream.
The only issue with fma on my pc is that sometimed it disconects, but this is a known problem with usb and win98, on my laptop with xp this problem never happens, and fma runs ok.

It never gave me a headache and the se software never worked for me. I am using fma and is ok. Using ir on winxp. The only trouble is, subfolders under files can only be viewed and not downloaded.

I have been using FMA for about a year and a half now - every since I bought my T610. Whilst I have had some problems with it - mostly connection problems over Bluetooth - I have not had any contact losses from my phone.
The only similar issue is I have had some problems when deleting just one part of a multi part text message.
It would seem to me that the FMA contact sync is not working properly on your phone for some reason, and has corrupted some entries in the phone. If it were me I might be tempted to delete the data file corresponding to your phone in C:\Program Files\Fma\data and resync everything from scratch. |

thanx, i did use the sync with outlook function in fma, and lost contacts in there too...
also some other anoying features such as: when you receive an sms on your fma, you can read and reply to it but my phone still indicates the new message... i connect through cable and sometimes bt... i'm sorry to all fma addicts, but it messes with my phone and since i need it for my work, i can't use it on my K700...i know the last update was the temperature indicator, but it seems to me they have other errors to worry about first... |

perhaps some of your setting is incorrect, mine is working fine without problem since 7 months ago. anyway why don't you look at into their forum and get some advise on your problem. |

Probably the sync with FMA was not done properly at some point and causes the phone to crap out. Try deleting the phone's phone book and reload a backup. You do have a backup, right?
It's a good habit to "send all" entries of the phone book to your PC as backup using IR/BT (without FMA) from time to time.

@ govigov- you can download files to pc using fma. Just in to folder on the left side, then choose file on the right, and right-click on it choose all tasks, there is option download from phone (or upload to pc, i'm not quite sure).
