i know that these type of scams have been mentioned a few times before but i have been contacted in the last couple of days as a direct result of advertising phones on this site (i have only advertised my phones for sale on this site so this must be where they got my contact details from!) so i thought i would post this as a warning to other sellers and name and shame the bugg*rs that have tried to con me! these are the emails i have recieved in the last two days:

I have heard similar stoires about people pretending to be purchasing for reputable people in nigeria so by now my alarm bells were ringing big time! i have since replied to both emails tellin them where they can stick there atempt at coning me! i am not sure exactly how these scams work but i kno for sure that this is one! so i am posting this to warn anybody incase they recieve similar emails! beware people unfortunately it is simply a fact of life that are a hell of a lock of co*ks out there!!! if anyone knows any further details of how these scams work it might be usefull to post it here!

It was in our news, that this nigeria mails scams. And it isn't only phones. Beware of it.

Sadly m8 there are some people who are fooled by such scams yet. I know of a couple of them who nearly fell for it as the letter was in English and they speak Vietnamese. Luckily they asked me to translate. Saved em from a HUGE mistake.
