Hey all, I found a link to this while posting on some other forums. It's a pretty damn good job if you ask me. They change what I think is originally an Acura NSX (honda) into a Ferrari F50 (the 50 years one) replica. Well, anyone who knows these cars knows that the NSX is essentially the Japanese's attempt at a ferrari anyways.
Check it out here

I saw a few pics of what I thought was a Lotus Espri v8 turned into a Lambourghini Diablo replica, but then I've seen beetles that have been "Diablo-ified" so thats no biggie.

These guys really did a good job though!!

If i cant afford the real F50, i wouldnt ruin a beautiful machine as a Honda NSX by turning it into a wannabe Ferrari. The NSX is a supercar in its own respect. Plus, the price of an NSX could still buy you a good used ferrari. Quality and style never come cheap.

Agreed, but I'm not in Japan. You wouldn't believe how cheap those hondas get over there .

And the NSX is as common as a Vauxhall/Opel/Holden Corsa (Barina) is over here.

But yes, I'd simply keep the NSX. It was a good looking car before anyways, I'd probably do the conversion only if the NSX was beyond reasonable repair .

There's quite a bit of these coversion kits about

YOu can buy a conversion kit to convert a mr2 to (i think?) a 360 modena

Or you can convert a prelude to a skyline

etc. etc.

The main thing is, though, a person who is moderately knowledgable about cars will be abelt to tell the fake at first glance (the tires will look funny and you will have crap brakes--15"8 brembos hehe THATs not noticeable--and suspension)

If youre willing to drop 10000 more dollars on a 20,000 dollar car just to make a imitation you should consider buying a maxima or 350z or soemthing like that [addsig]

I was wondering the same thing. I'd probably prefer a Prelude over a skyline anyways, as long as the insurace was less. Besides, the prelude can still be PIMPed. For want of a better word.

Nick

Edit: Like the one below.

Mmmm Preludeish action
