Hi,
Help me with some software that can convert mp3 to size 3-4MB in 300-400 kB . I know it can be done with some conversion. Any ideas how?
It's for my K700.

I'm not sure what you mean by this bit:

Do you mean you want to make a 4MB file into 400kB?
You can try dbPoweramp. It's free & really useful, you can choose exactly what quality of file you want & hence how big it is

Yes , (sorry for my engl.)
This is the software i'm looking for. I used it when i had a Nokia 6600, but then i sold my phone and uninstalled dbPoweramp, and i forgot the name of the program. Thanks a lot!@ |

No problem mate.
Makin a 4MB file into 400kb will need pretty poor quality though. I imagine it will sound awful!

Convert MP3 to AAC so that you wont sacrifice quality for size. |

But you can't use AAC as ringtones I don't think & I'm not certain how they behave in the music player as it shows mp3s & not WAVs (on P9x0 at least)
You have to go to the 'manage files' section to see WAV, MIDI etc rather than the player screen

@oneill, if you're going to use it for ringtone, I suggest you cut the mp3 (there are many software for cutting with fade in/out) and not convert the entire song. You could get a 400KB file and still have a good enough quality.
resistance is futile. |
