im having proplem to establish dial up connection between s700 and ipaq it seems that ipaq having proplem with s700 only since i tried with p900 and its work but with s700 i only can send and recieve file ..any help will be appreciated ...

Im having the same problem with the 4150 and a gsm dial up conection seems to dial ok the falls over reporting a modem hardware fault, used to work fine with my philips fisio.

you need to put a z into the iPAQ "extra dial-string modem commands" field

On your connection setting pls change these values: A. Dial number *99#. CID code is not needed for single data account. B. In advance tab uncheck 'wait for dial tone...' C. In the same tab, in 'extra dial string modem commands' put letter Z

Try this AT command for modem activation string:
+CBST=0,0,1;+CHSN=1,1,0,4

Work with my K700i and ASUS Pocket PC.
GSM connection
Not try yet with GPRS
