Whats the best way to resize pics to lesss than 26oo bytes? i use Adobe 6.0. I tried resizing the image to 100 x 75 dpi, and changed the color palette down to 58 colors but the file size is still a whopping 17Kb! Help!!!! Thanks for any help

Here's a few tips:

  • Firstly, scale your image down to 101 x 80 for bg pics]
  • Go to image>mode>indexed colour
  • Use the save for web from file>save for web
  • You'll come to another screen. From here you can fine tune your image and drop the file size even more. Play around with the no. of colours and "lossy" functions

Hope this helps.

have released a new Image Editing software - I think it's just called SonyEricsson Image Editor or something like that. This software is designed especially to crop, resize and do basic editing of pictures to fit the screen of the T68m/T68i. You can download it at the site. I don't have the exact URL infront of me now but it shouldn't be too hard to find. The software is very basic but should serve the exact purpose you're after.
Hope this helps.

Cheers.
