Ya im sure, it has a message (your memory card is locked) everytime i read it on my USb card reader

working with any encryption tool? as far is I remember there is no way to hardware-lock..

try to format that memory card, may be locked by someone else.. if you did buy it..

I have similar problem...

When i try to connect my Simcard reader on my Laptop it only reconize 5of6 ports and the onte it doesent reconize is MemoryStick Duo...
But on my stationary computer it works perfectly... Both computer has the drivers you need and USB 2.0

If I am not mistaken you can lock a memory card in that I mean Right Protect it. Are you talking about SD cards and stuff? If you look at the card you will notice there is a little switch that can be moved either left or right. I suggest you move it either way and try it...
