It's nice way to play games when you open the phone 90 degrees clockwise. Your left thumb will be in the position of the navigation pad while your right one will be in the numeric keypad.

yep, I noticed this image on the entertainment page of the  S700 product info
and also on the design page they show this image
and say
"Cool swivel action
This swivel-action phone looks cool - and works great. In open mode, you access the keypad. And if you have your S700i in the 90 degrees position you enjoy perfect gaming.
so I guess thats what they had in mind!
