i am having trouble with my current one (brainbox) and would like to no which one works for sure!? at the moment if i try and send anything bigger then a poly tone the phone will crash (thought it was the phone first so got it replaced). If i try and send a video or MP3 it will just stop the transfer half way! i have manged small MPŁ and videos that are only a few hundred kb maybe this BT dongle just can't handle MB's? and ideas?
cheers |

i started with a belkin with my T610 but had never ending problems so tryed the current one which worked perfectly on my old mob!
i just got the latest softwear from brainbox but still no change! my mobile is a branded voda it wouldn't be stopping me would it? there isn't a transfer limit or anything stupid like that? is there some where i can find out what exactly the branding has done to it? |

I use a Belkin Bluetooth adapter to regularly send MP3's/Movies/Photo's often 20-30mb at a time. Never had a problem with it.
The D-Link adapter is supposed to be good too, i'm sure it's the smallest unit and it looks the best.
Sounds to me though like you're having driver issues. Also sometimes with large file transfers to the phone it appears to lock up at the very end, but after I give it a minute or two to think it over it finishes fine. I think the phone just takes a while to sort out the files. |

Try the Kensington dongle. I have it and using it with my PC with XP and everything works perfectly. |

i use a belkin jobbie fine when using xp-sp2 drivers, and native xp bluetooth send/receive program. Things can go a bit funny when using the shoddy SE mobile phone monitor software though.... |
