And no I dont work for them and I dont know anybody who does, tell me why you think anybody else is better the UK in your opinion, my reason is that customer service matters and nobody can touch them!!!!!

who's the best service provider...who cares?

i've used Orange once, never liked them, reception in my part of town is better with the other 3 networks...so it's down to personal opinion and location...and i often find people on Orange tariffs spend far less time talking on their mobiles than those on other networks bar Vodaphone...those users dont even like retrieving voicemail as they pay for it.

never the less, your late:

Orange are too possessive over the handset you own. They put their logo on it, lock it to their network, allsorts, even though you've paid good money for it, and you're on a one year contract.
Stuff that. Vodafone gives you a standard phone out of the box, no modifying.

The reason I say that they are the best is because of there customer service, I know they dont have the latest phones as early as Voda & O2 (what a name?) but my T68 stopped working yesterday I phoned them at 1:00am this morning and am expecting a replacement today between 6pm and 10pm which other UK network does this????? I have just bought 15 Handsets on T-Mobile for the place I work at and 1 doesnt work out of the box so I phoned them and the best they can do is collect mine get it repaired and send it back to me which takes at least 5 days? Thats why they get my vote!!!!

I must agree that I have found customer service with Orange excellent too! I had my phone stolen, and again orange replaced with 24 hours.
Also when you phone Orange (if your on contract) with a query, you are welcomed by name, and all that is needed to confirm identity is a pre-agreed password.
With BT for example, I have felt like I have been interrogated before I get to talk to them, and why do they need to know my phone number if I have phoned them on my mobile? Don't they have caller display at BT!?!

In terms of coverage, I have normally found Orange to be good in many places around UK, where as T-Mobile for example seems to have great big black-spots! But I guess it depends alot on where you live.

I have yet to try Vodaphone (their tariff prices don't tempt me), and I am unsure if BT have improved with the move to O2...

As for prices Orange price match all the other networks anyway...

Mike

Ok I've been with Voda for quite a while and anyone who reads my posts will know I don't rate them as much as I used to especially on customer service front but I have to say that I got my T68m's replaced immeadiately when they broke and when the T68i came out they replaced my m for an i as I'd had so much trouble.

So in answer to your question "this morning and am expecting a replacement today between 6pm and 10pm which other UK network does this????? " - Vodafone does but I didn;t have to wait that long!

ive been with T-mobile since it was mercury one 2 one, and i have to say i have never had any problems.

They send me free phones every year, and have always been very helpful, and now that im on the employee call (even though i dont work for them!) i get 50% discount on my bills!!! i cant complain!!!
