dear all,
i am thinking of getting HPM-10, what do you guys think of HPM-10 compared to a normal mp3 player eg. creative-nomad, i can't decide which to get, need help here! thanks

I very very strongly suggest you buy a normal mp3 player independant of any phone. They are much better than the HPM-10. I myself own an HPM-10 and I just wish I would not have wasted my money on it. It is not a accessible accessory and disconnects from the phone at the most minor jerk. Nomad, on the other hand is a standalone player, so there are no problems associated with it. Whether u buy the nomad or not, do stay away from the HPM-10. cheers!!!

HPM is alright but the mmc are expensive and do not hold much music, also if you ever decide to upgread you phone, you'll be able to use you independent mp3 player.
Sometimes if the mp3 player moves abit from the back of the phone it restarts from the begining of the card.
makes you phone crash sometimes (very rare)

i know it comes with a card reader, but it is not a usb port, i think it sux there... |

Since a mp3 player costs only US$16.95 (in Romania) I think it worth to buy and try this small device. |

I think the HPM-10 is pretty OK. Here are my thoughts on it:
Good:
1. Goes with the phone (T68i) and the software is pretty decent for the simple device that it is.
2. Looks good
3. Mutes when you get a call if you're listening to music
4. Compact. There when you need it, not when you don't.
Bad:
1. Parallel port (you'd think they'd stop making them already and go to USB by now!!!)
2. MMC are expensive and do not hold much music
3. MP3s do not have quality that's as good as my normal MP3 player
