Please help!!

Hi there,

I am new to the Apple Mac G4, the Sony Ericsson K700i phone and using bluetooth! So I am well and truly stuck.
I am using a Yakumo Blueport USB Bluetooth Adapter Dongle thing to try and transfer pictures from the phone to the Mac. The Mac has detected the Bluetooth device. It seems that the phone and the Mac have successfully paired, BUT when I try and send a picture from the phone to the Mac, the devices cannot connect to one another. I have tried to add the Mac to the phone as a device, and it has added as 'Unknown'. Basically, I think its probably quite simple but, because I have no idea about transferring files to the Mac, or using Bluetooth, I feel I may have just missed out some vital steps. Please can anyone help?

Many thanks

You don't say what version of Mac OS X you are using, but for the K700 you should really be running the latest 10.3.6

Have a look at the posts (especially the first) in the following thread and follow the instructions to successfully pair your phone, then try sending the pictures again.

Using the Sony Ericsson K700 with an Apple Mac

If you need any further help, please continue in that thread.
