Whaoouuu, this time our T68 is really a great phone !!!

The T9 apostrophe is working really fine for words like “can’t” or “isn’t”, in french also (like “j’ai” or “c’est”)...!!
But you also have, with just one press on the “*” key, your last written word with the first letter in Uppercase… and with one more press on the “*” key your last written word completely in Uppercase… and with one last press on the “*” key your word back to normal…!!!

That’s a pretty nice new function…!!!

R2E006 in relation to T9 also features "cheap" SMS by providing down conversion of national characters to GSM alphabet when possible. This is controlled by the "national char" option. Applicable to e.g. French, Greek etc.

Sorry guys, didnt make myself 'too' clear there. The problem is that when I am writing quite fast using the Multitap method I would move the joystick to the right to insert a space immediately. Now moving the joystick immediately results in scrolling of the letter options from the popup at the top of the screen. This jus makes texts a little slower . . .

I never use multitap, especially not when I want to type quickly, so I guess it is not a problem for me... :-)

I hardly ever write propa english wurds in txts, and I don't want to, so T9 is of no real use to me. Although I do agree that the latest revision is absolutely fantastic!

I lost track here... Do you still feel it's overall bad to have the "multitap popup joystick" navigation?

I thought most people typing fast multitap used the volume slider for quick access to non first chars as well as pre-empt the popup with it.

My guess is that both "space on right joystick" and the "popup joystick navigation" is meant for beginners. Agree?
