I have a MA 700 bt adaptor and handset manager software which worked fine on my old dell pc running win98se, the problem is I just bought myself a new dell 8400 pc and every time I install the bt adaptor it keeps crashing my pc leaving it with a blue screen and a major error message. I sent the error message report to microsoft which told me it was a driver problem and to install the latest drivers for my product, which I did once I downloaded them from mobileaction, but the problem is still there. Mobileaction say on their website that the MA700 runs on winxp but it sure dont on mine.
I have winxp sp2, any thoughts or suggestions on this ?
or do I need to buy a new bt adaptor for my pc.
Thanks.

As far as I know the problem is xpsp2, not the bt nor it's drivers. I know a lot of people that experienced problems with their BTs after installing sp2. I'd suggest you to reinstall win xp with sp1 and do not upgrade to sp2. You shouldn't have problems then.

There's another possibillity- uninstall BT software completely, then reset pc, then just plug in dongle without installing it's drivers- i.e. use xp's drivers. This worked on my mate's pc.
