I prefer the old message alert sound. I can't hear the new one after upgrade from t68m to i. Is there anyway i can change the message alert sound ?

No u can't right now! Not all the tones are low, i think ringtones are high enough to be heard.

Yeah only thse 3 and it is so annoying! Most of the times i miss the txt even if the vibrator is turned on :-[

Its pathetic SE can implement technological wonders but suck horribly at simple things like tones...

Right on! Why did SE have to go cheap on the message tone? This is one of the very few disappointing thing about the fone!

In my case, I feel much better with this low sound (in fact, 90% of the time my phone is in “silence” mode) than having one of the horribly disturbing Nokia-SMS-Beep-Beep !!!

I hate those Nokia Beep Beep everywhere…

in my opinion current sound (tone) for sms alert is much more better then the old one.

if you cannot hear the tone, then open your vibrating alert, too???

however, it would be nice, if we could able to change the sms alert tone and sound level..

if you want to increase the voulume ....when you download the songs of the net to your comp they are saved as *.imy then just open it in notepad and you vill see "Volume:V10" make the 10 to 15 ...15 is max
