Following on from the recommendation (me included) in using Davinci there may be a potential problem when flashing new updates using SEUS.
tried last night as people mentioned problems with the site being down and everything went ok with the phone flashing new firmware.
However it may be that the CDA 102286/8 that Davinci flashes too is causing EMEA1 languages to be flashed when updating.
Have called Sony and blagged that the phone was provided unbranded by O2 and they mentioned that the update service is recognising the phone as an import model.
Apparently UK providers sometimes use import models when stocks are low in the Uk.
SE US is thus recognising it as a model set for Eastern Europe and flashing those languages.
Phone works ok but is causing problems with display in that background has weird box character on it and themes don't display correctly on menu. This happened to anyone else yet? or at all?
