I have created a theme in SE theme creator but my pictures doesnt show. Instead of showing the pictures, the background color comes through. It looks OK in the preview in SE theme creator but not on the phone. The only screen that comes out right is the standby screen. Iīve used my own created pictures for all elements and the pictures should be OK. What am I doing wrong? Is there some way to disable the background color? |

Have you chosen your phone model in theme creator?

No there is no way to disable background colour.
Most likely the items are there but nor properly saved into the .thm file.
1: How did you name the images?
2. What OS are you running?
3. Did you save the theme, then amend then resave?
For which phone is this by the way?

Thanks for your tips.
I have a k700i.
Yes I have chosen the correct phone.
I named them after their size, like 176x176.jpg. I have also tried to save them as gif and png but it doesnīt make a difference.
When I created the standby screen, then saved and then created the desktop screen and saved, I finally got those two screens right, but the rest (popup and tab window etc.) still shows the background color.
I donīt know what OS I have. Can you check that somehow? I have the OS that came with the phone. |

Can you post the theme somewhere? Might help if someone could see what you've done. |

Try naming your images any names without special characters or spaces and all lower case.
So NO 176 x 176 but name them:
wallpaper
desktop
popuphighlight
tabunsel
tabsel
and so on.
Solved it for me at least.

thanx for all the tips, I tried them all but it doesnīt work for me. I renamed all the pictures and created a theme from scratch but it f**ked up anyway. It looks OK in the preview section but when i uploaded it to esato and my phone it was all white except the standby status and softkey screen. I think the problem lies somewhere in the saving process. |

Or maybe your theme creator is somehow bugged. Try to download another version.

OK, I think I solved the problem. I used to name the theme with a number, like dif1, dif2, a.s.o. When I finally took away the number it worked. Donīt know if thatīs why it didnīt work. seems like I concentrated to much on the pictures and not on the theme itself.
I will now try to upload the theme to esato. |
