Dutch language pack needed for K700i |

Just got my new Sony Ericsson K700i - my previous phones were Nokia. When writing a text message Nokia gives you the option to choose quite a few languages for predictive text, including Dutch (called Nederlands). Unfortunately my K700i doesn't have Dutch and I'd like to have it. The Sony Ericsson helpdesk tells me that in London I can have the pack installed for £18 (incl VAT) at one of the walk-in centres (like the one in Tottenham, mentioned in another post) - or alternatively send the phone off to Sony (takes 2 weeks) to have the pack installed.
Do any of you know of a different/easier/cheaper option? Could I download /buy it somewhere and install it with a data cable? |

welcome...
you will need to reflash your language pack and customization files... the best is to do it at official SE Sevice Center or partner...

You can use Davinci server. Davinci srever has a Dutch language (dutch = EU3). You need only 1 log for it. Not expensive. And very fast.

i think you should know all the options - this is copy of my post before:
TMS is avaliable here:
www.movitel.net/ftp/multiserver.zip (be sure to press Info button to check if there is newer version)
The SERU is avaliable here:
http://www.gsm-software.net/log/info.php
and here:
http://www.davinciteam.com/
Another one here:
http://www.universalbox.com/
I am using SERU at the moment as was not satisfied with some issues on TMS.
BUT THE ONLY THING I WOULD REALLY RECOMMEND IS:
GO TO OFFICIAL SE SERVICE CENTER!

Thanks for your responses! I eventually got it done in a small shop in Chinatown: very friendly, £15. |
