V800 beats 6630 ?
260,000 colors display beats nokia's LCD ?
Unique design with 2 display ... External is 128*160 65,000 colors like 6630 1.3 mexapixel camera , rotating lens with 6 LEds flashlight... with Motion Eye. ?
74 channels polyphonic with high quality mp3 ringtone & playback.?
MiniUSB with MS duo Pro. ?
Multitasking Interface ( still nokia dreamin'' about it) ?
and opposite...
Dunno in which dream you live but Symbian has multitasking since Nokia 7650.
Who needs 74 channels polyphonic??? Nobody listens to midi when he can have MP3.
Memory Sticks are expensive. With MMCs you get more mem for less money.
6630 also got a 1.3 MP camera + with S700i-like quality (although not rotatable).
Accessories for 6630: Real flashlight, keyboard, videocall-stand.
Unlimited possibilities (answering machine, spycam, motion detector, console-emulator, weblogger, ...) by installing new symbian programs.
and opposite too...
Nokia
they eat money and some people doesnt understand ! but V800 have built-in video call with rotating camera... (yes yes I hear ur market strategy statements-Especially from Finland guys)
yes hmmm v800 or 6630? and for me v800 built quality is better than 6630.

The N6630 can't top the V800. The V800 is superior to any Nokia I have seen, even the 6630. More design, more features and no lame Series 60 with dozens of menu's to go through.
And the V800 doesn't have the software problems that every Nokia seems to have that reaches the market. The V800 has the real Bluetooth inside with all available features and not some Nokia propriatary Bluetoothstack implementation that conflicts with other brands.
No... the V800 is by far the superior phone. |

I hate the 3650/3660/6630 Style, they are all the Same
But the V800, ... How could i say - It's Sexy !!
But in My country, the 6630 will for sure sell more than the V800
I don't even know, maybe it won't come to Turkey...

After seeing the image quality of the V800 (which I was highly dissapointed in and stopped me from buying it) I am currently considering the Nokia which has a very good price too (as said above). I do not think that anyone can complain about its picture quality?

What do you mean by the statement above? Is Nokias Bluetooth ablities worse than Sony Ericsson's? Also, will I be able to use my Sony Ericsson Bluetoth headset with a Nokia 6630? Does anybody know?
Has anybody seen an English review of it? If so, please post it here! Does anyone know if the 6630 supports MP3 ringtones? I saw these two programs being included:
Printer module from HP
Kodak Mobile imaging printing
What do they do, and how does it work, anyone?
A little list of good and bad things about the Nokia 6630 compared to the Sony Ericsson V800.
Pros:
Great camera
Low price (at least in Sweden)
Huge availability of applications
Cheaper and higher compability memory card (rsMMC)
Cons:
Not very good looking...
No inwards camera
No light
No infrared port
Does anybody think something more or different? I am happy to get opinions helping me to decide...
I am actually quite fond of Sony Ericsson but the camera ruined it for me (and some other small things as well). Again, Why dosen't SE make a perfect phone? The image quality and price is what makes me want the Nokia now. Then I can use it until there is a new Sony Ericsson that I can be really happy with.

the v800 is much better than the 6630. to begin with it looks much better, which it seems to me that all nokia users care about. |

I totally agree on the looks but what else? Everywhere I look where these two phones are fighting, it is always the design that comes up. I like Sony Ericsson, I do, but I doubt a little here... |

If you want to buy a phone just for it's design, yeah I would go for the the V800. But that's the only reason in my opinion. The 6630 has endless possibilities due to it's operating system, while the V800 is similar to the T610, K700, S700, etc. (OSwise) SE needs to bring out a smaller and cheaper smartphone, cause the S60 phones are getting more and more populair. SE is missing the boat.
So I would definately go for the 6630! I will never in my life buy a phone which doesn't have a flexible OS like Symbian, Windows Mobile, Linux Mobile, etc. cause a static OS like on the SE phones gets really boring after a couple of months and it just doesn't have enough apps on there. (Like dictionairies, maps, word/powerpoint/excel editors, etc.) I really hope SE will start to join the lowerend (non touchscreen) smartphone war, cause everyones there except them. |

the 6630 is more smart phone than the V800 and it is cheaper and smaller compaired to the v800 open. You can use SD memory cards of upto 2gb for half the money of a 1gb ms duo pro, if the v800 would support pro, but it doesn't.

V800 does support PRO duo and 6630 only supports RS-MMC which is available in sizes up to 512 MB, but they are, indeed, cheaper. |
