I have a question, when using wap (without using gprs)
do you have to pay extra? or are the used minutes counted as a normal phone call? (so it uses your montly minute package) |

Wap csd has min rates aswell, just as calls. Its cheaper at night, contact your operator about the prices.

Yeh i tink it just comes off ur monthly talk time. Never used wap really,i would say gprs is cheaper, as if u were to leave ur fone on wap gprs all nite u wouldn't pay as much than wap as it's charged by the min.

Wap csd is measured after time u stay in browser, at gprs u pay for the data value u down or upload, if it not unlimited access.

In my country i pay 15cents/min and the csd calls are counted separatly, as data calls.

I guess I have to call my operator then to figure it out
I'm not using gprs as I have to pay extra. (you have to buy a minimum data bundle each month) and I don't use all other features like sms and wap/internet much.

@egev. Depending on hat ur network charges, truth is there are conditions in which CSD WAP/intenet is more cost effective than GPRS. Talk t your operator, do the math, and take a decision you can live with.
