the normal wap works its just when you download a program that uses the internet like opera or agile messenger they cant connect?
im selecting "Vodafone AU Gateway" as the connection to use but it doesnt work (ive also tried "vodafone AU Internet" but that doesnt work either)
btw my wap setting are just the ones that came on the vodafone branded phone.

Programmes dat use d internet usually will not work with WAP settings. U may need 2 subscribe 4 a different data account dat handles regular internet.

Yes, even with GPRS WAP settings, regular internet apps like opera, avantgo, etc will not run. Still the same. Contact your network provider to see if they dont have a GPRS Internet service you can subscribe to so you can use all the features you want. Cheers!

i rang vodafone and said to them
i wanto be able to use a html webbrowser from my mobile phone
they told me that i my account was set up to allow that
btw i could load html pages from the standard browser on my t610 so it isnt vodafone thats the problem its my phone

I see your point. U may have to look at d settings u put on those specific programmes. But really, ur best bet would be for someone who has successfully used at least one of those programmes on a 7610 to share how they did it. I am lost from here, as I've not been opportuned 2 toy with d 7610 yet. Wish u success,pal.
