i just found this today while searching around to look at phones. seems the idea has been out before the idea of the d500...so what happened to it? it seemed to be an alright phone. symbian, mpix cam (with flash and video), mp3s (dunno if you can use for ringtones), expandable memory, java, series60, wap 2.0. seemed to only be missing bluetooth to me. so yea what happened? |

Would you believe I waited for this phone since it was announced about 1 year ago (more I think). In fact I was also waiting for it's predecessor D700 when it was announced about 2 years (or more) ago. They both didn't get released. Imagine how surprised/disappointed I was when the D500 was announced. Anyway IMO D500 is better. I just hoped they added the expandable mem and maybe an FM radio.

Hmm sux that they didnt go through with it. I hope they release the d500 cause it an attractive phone with good features. Im really liking the slider design right now.

yeah me too. I think BT will be added to a redesigned D710 probably will be called a D720 or something. I just hope it won't be overpriced.
