I have a P4 2.4GHz with 512MB memory.
Windows XP Pro SP2 installed.
DSS-25 syncstation connected and installed.
A fully loaded battery in my K700i.

These are all the requirements I can find.

I get the "Please Wait... Checking the installation of Sony Ericsson Update Service". And then nothing!
In the status field of IE it says "Applet StartApplet Notinited"

If I remove the phone from DSS-25 I get the same result which makes me wonder if the installation of DSS-25 software is okey?!
How do I check if DSS-25 is working?

Yes, my suggestion: Donīt use MSIE. I have had no problems using SUN java and Opera or Mozilla Firefox. (If you choose Opera you can take the one with java bundled)

Or perhaps you're usin' Norton Internet Security in that case you must allow popups. That happened to me.After that it worked out OK.

I guess Win XP has IE 5.5 by default..i suggest upgrading from IE5.5 to IE6.0 will make a difference in this case.

I don't use MSJVM.. I have Sun 1.4.2 I think the version is.
I have the latest IE 6.xxx istalled.
My viruskiller is NOD32.
Popups are not allowed automatically but it should tell me if
if a window wants to open and let me choose what to do..
Every other site does so anyway..
But as this is a Java thingy maybe I have to allow something
in the setup?!

Windows popups are something different, ru able to open java apps other than this particular site.
