I seem to get about 3-4 of those things a week if I'm unlucky! Also watch out for similar ones suposedly from Paypal

Best rule of thumb - if you get an email supposedly from Ebay/Paypal that asks you to 'verify' your username and password, input credit card details etc. from a link they provide - IT'S A SCAM!!! Ebay/Paypal would never ask a customer to log in via a link like that.

If in doubt, contact Ebay/Paypal about it.

These ebay emails can be reported by emailing spoof@ebay.com

If Ebay ask you to comfirm credit card details or whatever then its a scam because you didnt give Ebay any credit card details in the first place.

Are you a spoof virgin? Some of us get this type of dross continually. Forward it to spoof@ebay.co.uk and delete it.

Best thing is for you to send me all your money via PayPal or Nochex so that I can look after it for you. ;-)

i know that SOME of these can be quite convincing but surely the only people that fall for these things (and 419s etc) are the type of people who need telling the coffee from maccy d's is hot or that you shouldnt put you dog in the microwave to dry it off. these people deserve to be ripped off for being so goddamn redneck stoopid.
