DUPS
Sometimes we forget Bafana are ranked in the 80's and the teams
we are playing are all top 20 sides. So in reality it was always going to
be near impossibe.
There was no harm in dreaming though.
It felt good.

On the contrary Hobbs, I never forget where Bafana are in the rankings but I want to lose a match knowing that we gave it our best shot. What happened yesterday was disgusting to say the least. There was ni sense of urgency and no passion whatsoever, it was like watching a team that was just brought together for the tournament in the last 7 days. There was no fire there, the boys were running around like headless chickens. Passing to the opponents and constantly losing ball was the order of the evening.

If they played like that against Mexico then it would've been better cause we would be accommodating of yesterday's performance but they played above themselves against the Mexicans which suggested that they are capable when they decide to put their minds to it.

Uruguay were good but we made them even better with our schoolboy football.

Now is the time to prepare the future Bafana by bringing in the under 20s like Erasmus, Jali, Serero, Claasens, Makhubela, etc.

Everything you say is right.I was swearing at the television all through the match and even at one point was considering switching off the tv.
Side side side, forward, side side side, back, forward to halfway line, back back back to goalkeeper, goalkeeper kicks up field, lose position.
over and over again.
Pienaar gets ball,Pienaar dribbles,Pienaar falls over lol
Horrible soccer indeed.
But the World Cup goes on and I aint going to let it dampen my spirit.
Argentina just demolished the Koreans. They also looking good next to the Germans.
I cant wait for the England match tomorrow.Lets hope they take it up a notch and entertain.

It ain't funny but I started laughing when I read your post where it reads 'side to side...'

That is exactly what we did with no direction at all. Steven Pienaar falls all over the show while Modise doesn't know what the ball is for when it's on your feet.

I am still looking forward to the rest of the tournament without Bafana. Should be interesting seeing that Argentina are also firing on all cylinders. One match I'm also looking forward to is Spain vs Chile, this could be goodbye Spain.

@se_dude

Forget about Cameroon, to me they are already out of the competition. They are just not the Roger Milla Cameroon anymore, they are a bunch of footballers who are still trying to play the game with no direction or intention to be great.

I think the only African teams that look the part at this tournament are Ghana and Ivory Coast.

Spain always does exactly what they did yesterday, they completely break down when they need to lift their game. I wouldn't be surprised if Chile beats them.

I like the X10's phonebook and how it looks after you've added an image to a contact

That looks very nice! Tempting me to get the X10 but I will wait a bit. I am actually considering trying out the 5'' screens, am actually interested in the upcoming Moto something with a 4.4'' screen.

I hope those aren't real contact numbers, Hobbs?

Trying out the Mediascape Video on the X10.Its Fantastic.
I use XILISOFT VIDEO CONVERTER ULTIMATE to convert my movies, music videos ect.
I made the Video Size 854x480 (X10's screensize),set Video Quality to Highest,Audio quality to High and set channel to Stereo. The results are perfect.(love this software.Very user friendly and does a splendid job)
I took a 648mb music video in the AVI format (its massive because its HD) and after converting it to MPEG-4 with those above settings I got a file of the size of 65,2mb.Not bad.
The screen on this phone is so clear and crisp and when those extra colours are activated with the firmware update its going to be even more vibrant.
WUNDERBAR!
