Nokia X6 review on GSMArena:

Disappointing the X6 is a rehashed 5800xm, everything is positione at the very same place,in exactly the same way: USB, 3.5mm jack, charger port, power key, loudspeakers, SIM port, etc. . . .all set up the same. The screen is the same size,so is the batt etc. . . yet its nearly double the price of 5800 and its software is exactly like 5800 in V40,they shoulda called it 58003GS
Thought maybe it would replace my 5800 but now that ive read the review i would basicaly have 2 of same phone,just with 32gb and an extra 2mp in the cam and lose the use of a stylus which is still necessary sometimes in S60v5.

Coolsmartphone have obviously realised the impact of Android (and of course the iPhone); it is no longer a WinMo-only smartphone site:

Yep, disappointing review on the X6 indeed!

Reading the Curve 8520 review I found myself wondering whether I had the same phone cause their review was somewhat different to my experiences. Funny that.

Looks like SE may have a winner in Vivaz. If priced competitively then it will make big bucks for them. I mean, they surely have ironed out the bugs on Satio on this phone and this was said to be the fastest Symbian phone by Eldar, of all people. But then, this is SE and they don't do reasonable prices.

Yep,i wasnt a fan of Vivaz design at 1st but i think it just needs some getting used to,i like it,and the specs both internal and external are great. I realy hope its priced around the same as N97mini,but ya,this is SE, and a high end SE on Voda = lotsa pay-in. Wonder how much the Satio will be when Vivaz is released.

Yeah, let's hope the S60 Vivaz does well.

Woke up this morning and felt like I needed a change in the cellphone department. I needed to feel different so I dug up my P910i and it was quite an experience. It is still in perfect working condition. I had taken out the stylus and also put it in its box but it didn't pose any problem as it worked flawless with my finger. Quite funny to see people with the new touchscreen phone stare and look amazed at my touchscreen phone.

Hmmm... maybe they were shocked at how huge the phone was .

Just realized I had too many phones I don't use. The P910i and W890i. The Motorola V8 is my favourite slim phone because it is built like a tank and has the best call quality of any phone I have ever used. I actually use it as my second phone while the BB 9700 is one I am still trying to figure out where it will fit in cause I have a problem carrying it and the P1 as it feels like I am carrying two 'big' phones.

Ovi Maps with FREE Navigation went live today and its available for the 5800xm,if you have pre-V40 fw go to the App. Update app and if you have V40 fw go to SW Update app, Ovi Maps should appear at the top, its just over 7mb,and installs into internal memory. LOL no more dealing with that measly 180day free turn by turn license.

@GUCCI

Didn't mean to show off but it was fun. I agree that carrying two phones is not fun but I have no choice in this matter in that I have two lines, one personal and the other business.

I need a dual sim phone.

@ Dups:

Ya I've calmed my phone-buying habits a great deal since I bought the P1i.

The most phones I've owned at one time is 5 ( T39m, T630, P900, Nokia 7600 and N73).

Just the P1i and 7600 now..

@wanqs

If it wasn't for the contract upgrades I would probably get a phone after 5 years at this stage of my life.

I guess the more you grow old your habits also change. I mean I don't go after specs anymore just the necessary ones like the QWERTY keypad, good browser and a good call quality. The rest are just bonus.

I don't care much about the cellphone cameras, video recorder, etc.

Back then I wanted all the fancy features as opposed to now where I want the important ones for my needs.

@GUCCI

I seldom get those and I think they are free cause I have never been billed for them.
